What is old core charge?

Nordic Motor Center sells exchange units, which means when buying a product from our range, we will take your old item (old core) back in return. As a guarantee to get the old core back, Nordic Motor Center will charge an old core charge in addition to the price of the product. When Nordic Motor Center has received the old core in return, the entire old core charge will be credited and refunded with exception of the following:

1. In case of external visible damage of the old core, only half of the core charge will be refunded.

2. In case of failure to return the transport frame or the package that the item was received in, only half of the core charge will be refunded.

3. If the returned item does not correspond to the delivered product, only half of the core charge will be refunded.

4. If the equipment on the returned old core does not correspond to the equipment on the received product, only half of the old core charge will be refunded.

5. In case of failure to empty coolant / engine oil from the product that leads to leakage during transport and cleaning of the transport vehicle, only half of the core charge will be refunded.

6. The old core must be returned to Nordic Motor Center within 30 days from the invoice date. Otherwise, the entire old core charge is considered used.

 

How do I return the old core?

Return of the old core in Sweden:

The return shipment of the old core is included in the charged shipping cost. All return shipments within Sweden must be done by Schenker and with the accompanying shipping documents on the product from Nordic Motor Center. Return shipments is booked at Schenker by phone 031-7038000. Attach the address tag on the goods. The sender's copy must the signed by driver, the sender's copy will retain you as a proof that the goods have been retrieved. Returns made by other means are not replaced.

Return of the old core from other countries:

The return shipment of the old core is included in the charged shipping cost. All foreign return shipments must always be booked by Nordic Motor Center. To book a return shipment from abroad please contact our transport department at e-mail transport@nordicmotorcenter.se and Nordic Motor Center's transport department will book the return shipment for you. Mark your e-mail with booking return shipment of old core and order number for your purchase. You will find the order number on your order confirmation and on your invoice. Returns made by other means are not replaced.

 

How do I get my old core charge back?

When Nordic Motor Center has received and approved the old core, a credit invoice will be created of the core charge. The credit invoice of the old core charge shall primarily be used and deducted upon payment of an open debit invoice. If you do not have an open debit invoice to withdraw the received credit invoice with, you must notify Nordic Motor Center AB in writing, by mail or by e-mail to: administration@nordicmotorcenter.se, with your bank information. Then your credit invoice will be refunded to you as soon as possible. 

 

What kind of delivery can I choose?

Nordic Motor Center sends goods worldwide with the transport company DHL. DHL will ship the goods to you, to the shipping address that you stated in your account or at the checkout.

 

Can I pick up my order at Nordic Motor Center?

As a customer, you always have the possibility to pick up your order at our warehouse. Select pick up at checkout and you will not be charged any shipping costs.

When your order is ready to be picked up, you will be notified by e-mail.

To pick up your order, bring your order number and valid ID.

 

Which payment methods can I choose?

At nordicmotorcenter.se you can pay with the following methods:

  • Invoice*
  • Partial payment**
  • Card Payment
  • Advance payment to Nordic Motor Center's bank account

*Applicable to Swedish private customers only with Swedish social security number and a registered national address in Sweden.

 

Can I divide my payment?

Yes, through Billmate AB we can offer you as a Swedish private customer (not corporate customers or foreign customers) the opportunity to pay your purchase with Billmate partial payment. You decide if you want to pay partially during 3, 6 or 12 months. Of course, it is also possible to pay the full amount or a large part of it within the contract period at no additional costs. Partial payments is administered by Billmate AB, organization number 556918-4129, phone number 0046-40-30 35 00. In order to choose a partial payment, you must be over 18 years old, be registered in Sweden and approved in the credit validation made in connection to the purchase. How long is the warranty?

Some of Nordic Motor Center's products may be covered by warranty. Information about any warranty periods and special warranty terms for each product is available on the Site.

 

How do I make a complaint?

If you are having trouble with a product from us, you should always make a complaint. Please send a message to our customer service on the Site here. Then you will receive a response from our customer service by e-mail during the same day during regular business hours. If you have not purchased the product directly from Nordic Motor Center, you should first contact the company from which you purchased the product.

 

Problems during delivery, transport damages?

If part or parts of the order is damaged upon delivery caused by damage during transport then it must be notified directly to our transportation department, transport@nordicmotorcenter.se. Add order as the subject of your message. Enter your order number to simplify the handling of your case.
