A DSG-transmission, often shortened to DSG, is an electronically controlled dual-gear gearbox with two incoming shafts.
The gear switching of the gearbox is completely automated and the gear ratio is selected either automatically or semi-automatically through paddles on the steering wheel or by the gear stick.
